Botanical Surveys

Ecolution has conducted botanical surveys since 2007, including surveys for rare, threatened, and endangered (RTE) plant species following U.S. Forest Service and Washington Natural Heritage Program protocols. Our experience spans both western and eastern Washington across diverse ecosystems and project types.

Wetland Delineation & Mitigation

Ecolution provides comprehensive wetland services—from small residential sites to large wetland mosaics spanning hundreds of acres. Mitigation solutions have included bank credit acquisition, on-site and off-site mitigation, and successfully implemented created wetlands.

Salmon Habitat Restoration

Ecolution regularly teams with restoration engineers to enhance habitat for listed salmonid species. Ecolution offers a flexible scoping approach, integrating with client capabilities to control costs while meeting regulatory requirements.

Environmental Analysis & Compliance

Ecolution provides permitting and compliance services as part of integrated projects or as standalone support. Dr. Tyler is known for preparing clear, scientifically rigorous documentation that streamlines agency review and approvals.

Natural Resources Policy Advising

Ecolution offers policy advising informed by decades of experience at the highest levels of natural resource governance. Dr. Tyler has advised gubernatorial offices, state agency leadership, and regional councils on salmon recovery, monitoring, and natural resource policy.
